Without Gasol and Bynum, laker = rocket.
Now laker is the best team in west, Kobe will get a ring this year.

meh for some reason the lakers dont scare me. No way they score that much against the rockets. Chuck can guard gasol and yao bynum. Put battier on kobe altho he wont do much to stop him.

    Phoenix's defense looked awful.

I do think the Lakers are the frontrunners right now. Utah and the Lakers, with the Hornets rounding out the top 3 in the regular season but not realistically having a chance in the postseason.

Suns improved? They're crappy defense looked crappier w/ shaq in there. Bring on the lakers and quit crying. If atlanta beat them, why not us?

The Rockets will be red hot come post season... As always in this sports world; the hottest team in the playoffs will head to the championship and win it all...

Exciting basketball, but they don't play enough D to win it all

The Rockets are a much better defensive team than both of them, Playoff basketball suits the Rox more so than these teams,

    Especially if we keep Bonzi;)

Feel sad? Eat Alive?
Are you sure it was not because you forgot to take your anti-depression pills? ;)

I watched the game, too. Yes, they are good teams. But Rockets are on the same level.

Currently no team can eat Rockets alive in this league and yet we are still not running on cylinders.

    Cheer up, buddy!

I shouldn't say that I felt sorry for Rockets. But I feel sorry for Memphis GM, what was he doing? Worst GM award!

Both team shoot over 50% and score 124 + point. Nice defense.
    Rockets are sooooo scared now.

Brilliant analysis. I mean, of course, the best way to judge the performance of a team who just made a trade and we don't know how good they are is by seeing how they play against another team who just made a trade and we don't know how good they are.

Ever heard of something called a "control group"? I think we covered them in third, maybe fourth grade science class. But even at that young age, I was able to understand why you can't accurately judge the results of an experiment when you change two variables at once.

uh, i think our defense would have a say in that. ;)

plus, it's easy when both teams don't play that much D and they look so much better ;)

We will out-rebound both teams and definitely play better defense. I can't wait to see how we match up against both of them. It should be fun.

    Fisher>Alston
    Gasol>Scola
    Odom>Battier
    Kobe>T Mac
    Bynum<Yao

We can't beat them, maybe a game, but just not a playoff series :( we need a trade before the deadline.
