Too many haters in the BBS these days. The original poster finds an article written in a legitimate media outlet (vice hoopshype) related to the rockets and posts it in the GARM. You all need to chill out, I'd rather see these threads in the GARM vice the stupid a** polls that come out every hour. This is the kind of stuff that makes CLUTCHFANS an awesome fansite. So stop hating on the guy for doing what he should be doing anyway.

Sam Smith must have a thing with houston. He was the same guy that predicted t-mac to chicago. a garbage writer

Well there's no guarantee Bonzi stays, and Giricek is a solid player - I'd actually lean towards doing this trade.

Giricek also has a 1 year contract.I would like to see him on the Rockets but not for Bonzi.

I was going to edit and say as long as he had a longer contract than this year - if that's the case, we're better off sticking with Bonzi. No reason to disrupt chemistry. Why would Philly even want to do that though? Swap expirings? Guess that's where Sam Smith comes in.

Bonzi is probably one of our best tradeable assets. I could definitely see him being moved. Also, if you read the actual article, he doesn't say Giricek is being offerd for Bonzi, he just says Giricek is being offered in general around the league.

I'd consider Giricek a slight upgrade to Luther Head but not at the expense of Wells. And Head plays how much when the whole team is healthy?

Wells can post up and has a history of playoff success. Giricek has neither.

Giricek is another Utah cast-off...remember Kirl Snyder?

The Rockets have Wells' Early Bird Rights. Unless one of the 4 under the cap teams...IIRC, CHA, MEM, ATL, SAC...makes a ridiculous offer, he'll return for 2008-09.

    Sam Smith is a nut. Giricek makes 4 million,Bonzi around 2.3 million.It doesn't work.

Yeah, change the thread title. It's not Giricek for Bonzi, just Bonzi being shopped.
