I'm sorry but cheerleading is the most ridiculous feature of any sport all over the world. Typical american and they all dress slutty so i wouldn't be suprised of all those 'women' are that crazy. They have no self-respect and i'm sorry for all the American girls that get caught up in that whole world. They should be embarrassed and really need religion. Imo, cheerleading should be out for good. If you try to defend cheerleading you're basically saying evil is good because that's what it is.
What's weird about it, i mean seriously, what good can from girls with make up on and in short skirts exposing their bodies like that . It only makes all those girls in high school and college miserable because they want to live up to this 'standard' of being skinny, having the 'right' cup of breasts etc. Only the pretty girls get the job, which is sending the wrong message because that's not what it's about.
I guess everybody in here who will talk about my post is a man which i understand because all men like to look at women but it's wrong. Their bodies should be kept to theirselves and their husband in the future, not for the whole world to see. With the way they dress they can get men thinking, fantasizing and committing sin in their minds. You can't deny this because we all know it's true and i understand it's normal to many but it shouldn't be considered normal. That's all i'm saying and cheerleading doesn't add anything to the game of basketball.

The Owners of the NBA teams need to wake up and realise that the fans attend the games because they love the game of Basketball and follow their team and favorit players. Fans do not go for the explicit sexual sensation provided by the half clad slutty girls who attempt to draw the minds of men away from the purity of the game into a sess pool of sexual thought. I can't understand why our Priests don't speak against it .
Jelle, I hate cheerleading too. It's degrading and beyond stupid. I feel the same way about beauty pagents, which are nothing more than 4H shows except women's bodies are being judged instead of cows. But I realize most people, men and women, disagree with this. So be it.
