I play a game called Kingdom of Loathing, and Jick has run that rant I ran about 100 times. Kind of funny, really.

 

How about upgrading Jeremiah to Contributing Member status? I'm going to ditch 'Xerobull', and that's my new account - I also put some cash in the tipjar.

I dont't want to make a big deal out of it. Just a gentle reminder. Thanks!

 

Why do you want to get rid of that account?? At least ask Clutch if he could change the "Xerobull" account to "Jeremiah" instead of starting a new one - in other words, request a name change.

I don't want to use that monkier because I've felt really silly introducing myself as 'xerobull' when I meet other CFers. It's not even a good nickname, like 'Yoyo' or 'Manny'.

And I don't care about start dates or post counts. And I know that if he changed mine, he would get inundated by similar requests. Plus, it gave me an excuse to give the site some money.

But if you DO want to merge the accounts, Clutch, I won't argue.

I was mysteriously downgraded at some point during the last few weeks. I have no idea why though. I tried to start a new post a few days ago and wasn't able to. Thought it was just a high-traffic time, but after a few days had passed, I noticed this thread?

Can I get some love? I've been here forever and have contributed much positive information to the board.

clutch i believe the member jelle should be demoted to rookie status, all the threads he creates are the same and I really don't think adds to any conversation on this forum.
