I'm Getting a Jukebox for the Engagement Party, and if we want we can put our own CDs in. Which would appear neccessary cause i have the sneaking suspicision the jukebox place's selection will be craphouse.

So i need suggestions for SOngs that are good at parties (can be just songs as I will just burn some CDs), now some more information this is a rather large party in one large room with a broad mix of ages attending, close to half will be 20 somethings and early 30s people, but the other half will 35-60 year olds.

    Thanks in Advance

Some of you might disagree with me on this, but when I first saw the word "parties", I thought of stuff by Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, the Crystal Method, etc. Any good dance bands would be good, especially "Substance" by New Order.

If the party is going to be more laid-back, you could probably not go wrong with trip-hop CDs by Massive Attack, Portishead, Tricky, and Hooverphonic.

You gotta have my man George Clinton and the Parliament Funkadelics at any party. I'm actually thinking of doing a collaboration with him soon :) (not really, but JayZ would be better if he did do something with Clinton)

btw, New Order is touring Australia later this month. Smeg, I wish I could trade places with you for a day. They will be at the RA&HS Showgrounds on Feb 1st. I was born 10 years too late :(
