No way are we getting JKidd. First, he's a terrible shooter. Second, we'd have to give up way too much.

nope he has 2 yrs left at $19 mil and $21 mil

tmac has 2 yrs left at roughly around the same price.

so inactuality, u can do this deal straight up and put in some cash

noone would acutally want to do that. I wouldn't mind him here with T-mac and Yao. He will run the offence efficiently enough so that T-mac won't have to have the ball so much. And he would actively let Kidd have the ball. The points will flow for him and Yao if that happened.

But to me the most important thing is Kidd can defend those pesky PG's we get burnt by all the time.

It makes no sense to get Kidd. Hollinger has been railing on him for his poor performance this year, and he and Morey are of like minds--his TO ratio is through the roof and he's not shooting well even by his own low standards. With his salary, if we don't get rid of T-Mac or Yao it would basically cripple us for years ala the Knicks.

Kidd wouldnt work if we had to trade Tmac for him. Could you imagine Kidd, Battier, and Hayes on the floor at same time? We would average 50pts a game :D .

Change out Vinsanity for RJ and THEY might perk their ears.

Only possible option for Kidd on a winning team is Dallas because they have a lot of depth. Im not sure if it would even make Dallas better. I dont see any good teams willing to sacrifice too much to get Kidd because its not worth it.

Unfortunately the only way to get J. Kidd is to trade T-Mac for him. Kidd is in the same league or better than Steve Nash. His assists are like crazy good. Passes on a dime and knows how to run and offense and the break.

We play a slow pace game because one Yao? Some may say we actually a slow pace game with T-mac. Watching the games w/o T-Mac, I'm not going to say the Rockets are better, but I do see more running and much better ball movement.

Yao *runs* up the court while TMac walks up. That's a huge difference right there.

we're not getting kidd if it means trading t-mac. im not sure how good kidd will make this team anyway. we're last in the league in fast breaks because noone knows how to run.

Tmac still deserves a chance to prove himself until the offseason, but for the heck of this post, would you guys consider this trade?

Tmac, Hayes, MJames, Snyder, 2008 1st rounder, 2009 2nd rounder

    for

    JKidd, Richardson, and filter?
