My new DVD-ROM

    oh yeah baby!
    I've just installed a $69 Fry's special DVD ROM.... it is so freakin' cool to be able to watch movies on my PC (welcome to the late 90's!?) Watching a movie on my 15" flat screen is so sharp!! I just thought I would share my new found PC joy with my friends on the BBS...

    I also purchased the 20th Aniversary edition Caddyshack DVD!
    So cool, with the outtakes and commentary!

    I'm in GEEK heaven...

    and I got a new computer chair!!

    Yeah, much of Fry's stuff is returned merchandise or somehow opened boxes. I don't mind that much to be honest, but when people see returned merchandise in the store that they can get cheaper online and NEW, it pisses me off. I still buy stuff from Fry's, though. Like I just bought a new Panasonic phone from them (at least I think it's new... haha). I doubt I'd buy anything major like a mobo, memory, or processor from them, though.

    I got my Blaupunkt in-car CD MP3 player from them. It's the perfect accessory to Morpheus.

    And yes DOD, it is hit or miss, but if you smart shop you can get some great deals there, and the beauty is that you get them THAT day !!!
