that guy Sephiroth has some serious problems in English class.
first he doesn't understand the concept of quotes
then he doesn't get the object predicate relationship.

I was actually surprised when he said that last night on TNT b/c i could've sworn he said it was T-mac's team just last month. He then went on to say that if the team don't get it, that its yao's team...they will continue to struggle. i don't know what to think...

In the past Charles knocked Yao when Yao couldn't carry the team without T-Mac, now that Yao's team is winning without T-Mac, hence a change of heart?

speaking of charles, i found this classic game of him and the rockets vs jordan. you gotta love his competitiveness even though Hakeem and Clyde were out.
This video is more of a Michael Jordan highlight video though. But there are some Barkley highlights.

    fun picture. lol

everybody knows it's more of Yao's team than it's Mac's.
but at the end of games, we still want the ball in Mac's hand.

Exactly! This can be Yao's team, but down the stretch the ball needs to be in Mac's hands. It too damn easy for opponents to take Yao out down the stretch.

I don't think Yao and T-mac are worried about this...nor anyone on the Rockets.

Yao and T-mac are the ying and yang of the team. You can't say one is more important then the other because they play off of each other. One makes the other better.

If you don't see that then you aren't watching the games closely.

But let me explain it to you in terms you can understand.

When no T-mac, Yao gets doubled and has trouble getting the ball in good position.

When no Yao, T-mac gets doubled and has trouble penetrating of getting a good shot.

When T-mac and Yao - defenses can't double both - someone is going to get an easier time. Defense has to pick it's poison.

    Or leave 2 guys open.

Exactly. If Yao and T-Mac went after each other the way Yao fans and T-Mac fans go at each other on these forums the Rockets would have a wins total in the single digits. That's not to say that their roles are going to be identical. The Rockets like to say they play inside-out basketball. The "inside" part is basically Yao. In the fourth quarter teams pick up their intensity and become more physical. They also key on Yao. Swing the ball around to T-Mac, who savors having the game in his hands in the final minutes.

While T-Mac was out plenty of posters pointed out that the team wasn't going anywhere in the playoffs without T-Mac. That's true, but by the same token the Rockets aren't going anywhere without Yao either. And even with both of those guys playing they'll still bomb out unless guys like Battier, Hayes, Scola, etc. step up.

    Charles said it again!

Tonight on highlights halftime of the Warriors/Bulls

"If they can get a point guard or realize its Yao Ming's team and get a shooter"...

"I don't know what the Rockets are doing, they can't stand pat"

"They have 3 million dollars under the cap.."

then he also said the rockets still owe him money.

we don't need a PG. we need a PG who can SHOOT b/c tmac and yao will be doubled. rafer is a good enough PG in terms of passing, handling the ball, and minimizing mistakes. his weakness is his inconsistent shooting.

if he can play like he had the past 3 games (including tonight), we'll do big things.

What exactly does that mean....to realize this is Yao's team. Doesn't everyone already know that the team revolves around Yao???

it doesn't matter what it means, it just matters that Barkley said something so the GARM can go bonkers over it.

    Good work Charles!
