Not that the recent wins in Orlando and at home against the Raptors(who'd spanked the Spurs the night before) weren't impressive, but this is the first real test the Rockets will have faced since T-Mac went down.

And it's a crucial game too since they're trying to catch the Hornets along with 8 others teams in the playoff race.

There's so much at stake on the line for this game. Beat Hornets and Tmac will buy into the system and come back playing within the system. Failure to do so will result in Tmac heaving jumpers when he come back. :D Teams come first and winning is all that matters. GO ROCKETS!!

Question. Is Demon going to be available to provide us with a link? or are we on our own for this one.

Demon is a true fan, he doesn't miss a game and always provides links, I'm sure he will help us with his great mms links.

In case, there's always some sites where you can watch the LP games, http://www.channelsurfing.net for example ;)

The Hornets kill you with pick n roll & CP3's penetration. Stop CP3 and the Hornets are almost done.

    Keys to win:
    - use size on CP3 instead of a smaller, quicker player - i.e. Battier. Be physical with CP3.
    - must do a better job in defending the pick & roll.
    - clog the paint and dare them to shot from outside.

Interesting game! It will be a close game.

    95-85 Rockets win.

    Go Rockets!

Rockets must play stifling defense and execute well on offense.

Use our superior bench must make a significant contribution in this game.

They will surely double Yao from the start, so this is an opportunity for our shooters to take advantage of. Make sure they take advantage of this.

A home game they should fight very hard in.

I think the Rockets win this game.

    And the roll continues.

    Rockets 103
    Hornets 94

    Keys to the game:

    1. Skip vs. CP3. Rafer's gotta bring his A-game on both ends of the court or we're screwed.
    2. Pick & Roll Defense. The team must do a good job rotating on the pick and roll and helping -- the Hornets live and die by the PnR, and if you can't slow them down, they'll score on you all night long.
    3. Bench play -- we have a deeper bench than New Orleans. But our bench must step up and take advantage of theirs.

This might actually work if Peja is on the floor since he is not someone who can easily take advantage of Rafer/Brooks on the post, or if we're playing Bonzi at the 2-guard. The other guy that can really burn you is David West, so Chuck must bring his A-game on defense there.

Paul and Jackson combined for 9-9 from 3 point range last night. And they have Peja. Their offensive strength *is* outside shooting. You must deny penetration but you better cover the outside shooters or it's going to be a long day.

    6th Win in a row.

    My keys to victory -
    1. I think we should use the same strategy we use on Nash on CP3. Make him score and not allow him to hurt you with his assists.
    2. Control the boards. Rebound the misses on offense. Finish the defense with a rebound.
    3. Execute.
    4. Protect the ball. Limit unforced errors.
    5. Yao must stay out of foul trouble and not rush his shot when Chandler bodies him.
    6. The bench must continue their good play.

this is a different rockets team from jvg's rockets team that had hard times with this hornets team. hope adelman will do better and yao does bot have to chase the guards on the perimeter on p&r defense.
