    Doesn't matter.

The facrt is, without a healthy motivated t-mac - there is no chance we can contend.

Rockets just got flat out worked in the fourth quarter. It is mind blowing to me how RA makes no adjustments. They need to get this thing figured out quick. Pretty soon, all of the goodwill the Rockets earned in the off season will be gone.

    Nov 29: Rox 94 GSW 113
    T-Mac 34 min, 11 pts

    Dec 31 Rox 95 GSW 112
    T-Mac 0 min, 0 pts

You're right: without T-Mac, we lose -1 pts on offense and our defense improves by -1 points.

Somebody PLEASE pull out that "Rox without T-Mac" stat now.

But in that nov.29 game, it was a back to back and that didnt help T-Mac.

Wait, you mean we actually have a good record when T-Mac does not play? Yeah, thats what I thought. The "Rox without T-Mac" stat stays until we start winning games (MEM and TOR are teams we are suppose to beat).

Don't forget our good record when Alston doesn't play when our most talent guard is healthy and has Yao. That embarrassing stat stays until we beat the teams we are supposed to beat when are non-allstar point guard misses a game.

 All those "records" are stupid.

23 turnovers, a number of missed layups (is this the worst NBA team at layups??) spelled doom for the Rockets. We're now 3 games behind Portland and could end up 4 or 5 games behind the 8th seed before the week is out. Sadly, I'm now 7-2 in predictions.

    Toronto L (embarassing)
Philadelphia L (hideous; Yao calls the team soft after this)
Detriot W (predicted L and we deserved an L)
Dallas L (predicted L; terrible loss at home)
Orlando L (predicted L; like Detroit game, FTs and layups were horrible again)
Denver L (predicted L; tough loss, make FTs and we win; however, ...)
Chicago W (predicted W; bench played remarkably well; AB wins his job?)
Detroit L (predicted L; Detroit just toyed with us all game)
Memphis W (predicted W; solid win with 6 in double figures)
Toronto W (predicted L; sloppy game; pulled out the win down the stretch)
Golden State L (predicted L; Rockets starters blew this; 23 turnovers)
    ============================
    Boston L
    Orlando L

    (15-18)

A sad game. I was going to celebrate at the beginning of 4th quarter, and did not expect the final result.

If we lose to the Knicks, Adelman should be fired on the spot.

The refs made a horrendous call against Yao in the 3rd quarter. Yao simply squared up for a jumper and Baron ran into the giant, flopped and got the call. That was Yao's 4th foul, which forced him to bench.

Can Adelman get Yao to set screens for teammates that are away from the ball?

The Rockets offense is predictable because besides T-mac, nobody can penetrate and create his offense. If Yao can set some backside screen, his teammates would be open for layoffs and dunks. Their opponents would be chasing the Rockets and have to watch out for Big Yao.
