I was on my computer yesterday and I was coming to CC.net when I guess I pushed something on the keyboard because the font for the site (and every other site I go to) got really big and is still the same today. I've been going out of my mind trying to change it back to normal, but to no avail. Can anyone give me a pointer.

Help me end this wretched nightmare. :(

If you are using IE, click on View at the top, and there should be a Text Size choice. Then just change the size.

You probably did it with your mouse. If you have a mouse with a scroll thing in the center, holding down the ctrl button and scrolling up or down also changes the font size to be bigger or smaller.

Edit: BTW, other interesting tidbits (that most of you probably know) -

alt+home = goes to home page
    alt+back arrow = goes back a page
    alt+foward arrow = goes forward a page
alt+spacebar = opens size box, allowing easy minimization/maximization via keyboard
    alt+tab = switch between windows

of course, you always have your alt+letter commands for the toolbars

    ctrl+o = open url box
start button (on keyboard)+e = opens explorer windown
start button (on keyboard)+m = minimizes all windows

I probably use the keyboard 70% of the time - I'd be interested if anyone else knows any cool shortcuts, or stupid ones that I may have just never figured out. Post any I;ve left out. Thanks.

I use ctrl + n to open new IE windows when I log onto the net. I always have 2 or 3 windows open.

I recently discovered that pressing the Windows key (between Ctrl and Alt) + M will pull up your desktop. JayZ, I didn't know some of those functions. Thanks.

I live by the keyboard. If the program's GUI is created correctly, it can potentially be SO much faster than using a mouse. Here are some general Windows shortcuts (provided the application you're using conforms to some standards) :

[CTRL + TAB] or [CTRL + F6] : Switch among child windows
CTRL + SHIFT +ESC : bring up Task Manager
CTRL + ESC + ESC + [SHIFT + F10] : perform a right click on the Start button.
F2 : Go into edit mode in various areas of Windows and apps.
CTRL + HOME : Go to the beginning of a document
CTRL + END : Go to the end of a document
CTRL + A : selects "all" in many programs
CTRL + S : saves in many programs
ALT + Down Arrow or F4 : Drops a dropdown box in many apps
ALT + Print Screen : Takes a screenshot of the active window(s). Print Screen takes a shot of the whole screen.

A little internet explorer shortcut I found out. Has anyone else seen this one? When entering the name of a website..

    Example: for http://www.msn.com

all you have to enter would be msn and then hit Ctl + Enter and it will automatically add the prefix and suffix.
I think this only adds the .com suffix tho. but it definitely fills in the "http://www." part.

Yeah, but I don't have problems with the www or the .com part... it's the stuff that's in between that's the pain. :D
