[UH] Texas Bowl Pep-Rally 12/27

    Here's all the OFFICIAL information on the Texas Bowl pep rally/meet & greet:

    - It starts at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 27th
    - It's being held in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Downtown (1200 Louisiana St.)
    - It will feature the band/cheer/dance teams as well as the 2007 football team and coaching staff
    - Rob G will be there to perform "Reppin' My Coogs" (the new version without Briles)
    - Dave Maggard, Welcome Wilson, Chris Thurmond, Donnie Avery, and Anthony "Quick 6" Alridge will address the crowd
    - There will be FREE snacks and a cash bar
    - The players & coaches will be available after the pep rally for FREE autographs and pictures
    - We will be handing out FREE Texas Bowl commemorative posters to the first 1,000 fans
    - It will be over by 7:00 p.m.

    I have tickets for the game, but can't come in a day early. I wish I could be there. I just hope the coaching change doesnt' take all the air out of the Cougars. I wonder if the new coach is going to be on the sidelines.

    I'm assuming because they paid to show it.

    You can only talk about the Patriots and Jessica Simpson so much. Too bad they haven't figured that out over at ASSPN.

    Check the Bookstore on Elgin and Scott. They've got a decent selection. The bookstore in the UC kinda sucks for UH gear.
