Doubt it. Still too early for any drastic changes. PG - Skip SG - Bonzi SF - Shane PF - Hayes C - Yao Scola James Head 'Francis' ? Snyder Deke
Maybe they do. What are the odds of Adelman making that change? IMHO, zilch. Rightly or wrongly, Adelman is going to stick to his rotation and matchups. And unless there's another injury and/or Scola steps up...it's business as usual. Maybe I'm wrong but that seems pretty obvious to me.
Yao Hayes Battier Head Alston with Tmac out we need all the shooters we can get to space out the floor for Yao we need to go back to the "Yao-or-3-pointer" mode, which should be more familiar to these players Wells and James off the bench for another set of "inside-outside" game
I know this is early in the season- but from a longer term perspective this week is extremely critical in Playoff seeding ( maybe getting too far ahead). In a funny way- this will give the bench a time to showcase their contribution. I see Kirk Snyder getting time- with Bonzi at SG spot. Luther is a hard worker- but frankly he is an eternal mismatch as a SG ( and he sucks as a PG).
should be Skip (ugh) Luther Bonzi Hayes Yao gives you more offensive options.. Shane, Chuck and Skip are blowing hard this season in terms of offense. Well Skip just blows overall.
Luther also has stunk it up this season. He's 10% from three point range and shooting 36% overall. He also can't defend anybody, and he's stagnant on offense.
The only problem is we still don't have a point guard. MJ does not get his shots off in the flow the game. Most of his shots leave me going "WTF?" If he would just take the open shots that Rafer has or better yet, if Rafer would just make some of his open looks, then I would be fine with our PG position.
Bonzi starts. Snyder makes it into the playing rotation. Francis goes from 12th man to 11th. Landry is activated.
PG-Rafer Alston SG-Bonzi Wells SF-Shane Battier PF-Chuck Hayes C-Yao Bench: Head ( extended minutes) Snyder ( limited playing time) Mutombo Luis Scola Mike James THAT'S IT.
