According to the above article, a reporter named GUAN XIN from GuanDong TV Sports Channel was robbed after the Milwaukee vs Houston game. Mr. Guan stationed in Milwaukee and he is assigned to follow Yi's NBA season. He lost money and a handy cam in the robbery. He once asked the 2 robbers to leave the video tapes with Yi's and Bucks' interviews inside and just took away the handy cam but failed.

Small town reporter probably didn't use common sense. One example is: Don't wave money in the air.

well, part of the reason it happened is because hes a foreigner(most probably). obviously cant fault him for that, but you have to agree it's what made him vulnerable. lack of street smarts....for now

Why is this not surprising at all. He probably turned his map upside down and walked five blocks East instead of West.

I thought Hou is a friendly city. It's bad publicity, especially happened to a foreign reporter.

Good thing Yi doesn't play for Washington or Atlanta or Detroit, or this could very well be happening on a daily basis.

The article didn't mention where the robbery happened. Could be Houston or San Antonio hence it's after our home game against Milwaukee, definitely not in Milwaukee since it said the reported followed Yi to the West.

Perhaps it took place nearby his hotel, not around TC.

well they should mention where it happens so next time some reporter from China or Argentina shows up, they'll know where not to go.
or at least describe the robbers.

you know.. if you see a bunch of youths wearing Reggie Bush jerseys walking toward you.. :)
