I think I may be the slowest ever to get to 1000, since I average a pahetic 1.03 posts a day...but its still a really cool thing to finally do after two and a half years... Clutch, you run an awesome site. When I first visited cc.com, I was amazed... I was even more amazed the first time I visited cc.net. You took a site that I thought couldn't get any better and improved it by a million times. I hope you plan on keeping the site around for a long time!
ha! ...i gotcha beat SirCharlesFan ....i only post 0.51 posts a day and although my registry is for sept 2000, i used a different moniker prior to that time for about a year and half when i first started and barely had over a hundred post under that nickname. i visit the BBS at least 6 out of seven days/nights a week, but i'm just a fan.....not an expert like Clutch, Jeff, Oeilpere, Crispee etc. hence my low posts total. but i'm learning....congrats on a 1000!!!
I only average like 1 post per day. But over the last week I've been posting a lot. About a week ago I only had like 180 posts I think and now I have 239. I was at like .7 posts per game then.
1000 is a special number.....I was proud when I hit that because it was a measure of time that signaled to me this site was now a constant thing in my life....(Just think before long you will have at least 3 to hit 10,000 before long!) but really the important thing is post when you feel right about it and when you can at times cvontribute to the collective effort...If it's 1 post a day or 10 posts a day, what matters is your enjoyment...I like to enjoy life, have fun and drink sprite, so in this spirit I hope you follow posters who show they can combine fun and quality to this bbs like crispee, achebe, Manny, Rockmillineum, etc.... Just don't emulate a couple uptight ones...... Seriously, be yourself.
Exactly. Great post, ROXRAN...I couldn't have said it better myself. Seriously, I wished that I had lurked, and I have posted a lot of crap when I first started. However, I have found that this board is pretty forgiving if you admit that it was crap. So, like ROXRAN said just try to enjoy this BBS, and don't worry if you post 1 time a day or over 12 times. Congrats on 1000.
