Is Andre Johnson going to play this weekend?

You probably should've posted this in the game thread, but it doesn't sound like he'll play. When asked about the injuries yesterday on 610, Kubiak only talked about Green and Jones possibly coming back.

 

i heard kubiak on the radio yesterday. He is walking around fine and there is no sign of damage. But he has yet to work out so they will have to wait and see how he responds.

I don't think he will play. I'd certainly hate for him to rush back.

 

He also had fluid drained this past weekend and is apparently working on strengthening and flexibility. I'd bet on him not playing this week.

 

I doubt if he plays. It sounds like he needs an additional week to get his legs back in game shape.

 

we sure could use our bye week right now instead of week ten

we should be able to win this week without andre, though i sure hope green plays. andre can come back for the titans game.

Him Mathis, Jones, and Green are must haves for this team. ....atleast they are for me in Madden.

After AJ's injury, they said he could miss up to five weeks.

 

You speak truth. That leaves three weeks after this past sunday, since he's already missed the Atlanta and the Indianapolis games after the injury. So don't count on him either of this or next weekends.

The bad thing is that we wanted him against the Colts, and the bad thing is that we are in danger of losing to the Jags...
