Sad thing to see anyone die so young.

    Hopefully he is at peace.

This is crazy, that wreck last week caused a major shut down in the area, I believe it was a chemical leak. I just can't believe it was him.

Horrible, just horrible. I feel so bad for his family.

Hopefully now in the afterlife, he can finally get the peace which seemed to elude him in life.

I remember on draft day in 2001 when the chat room exploded after we found out that we got Eddie Griffin and all that potential. Great moment. Unfortunately that potential realized..

    RIP EG

All I can remember is the crowd at the games yelling "Eddie! Eddie! Eddie!"

I have so many videotapes of old Rockets games, especially ones Eddie had a big part in. Such as a game in Toronto where Eddie had a big 3 and a game-saving block at the end. All I could think about that season was winning the championship with that team, and finally getting to see Eddie smile.

I feel bad for Eddie, but I do hope this kind of sympathy is nto only for an ex-Rocket and will be extended to the homeless guys we see going to and from the TC, and other people with drug problems.
