    The poster I responded to was making a backhanded jab against China, and he's hated on China before, so I called him on it. Americans really have no right to criticize China because their own country has such a shoddy record on what they try to pin China on.

    the poster was using something that we call a "sense of humor," you might want to look into getting one...

    bringing up the Information Ministry is no way jabbing your country, it is a reference to the amount of info that a certain poster brings to the board...

    but really, this is a great discussion!

    I was born in China, brought up in Hong Kong, studied my university in Taiwan, worked/lived in China during the week, spent my weekends in Hong Kong for the past 20+ years.
