Here is another article from LANACION.com regarding an article written on NBA.com (spanish).

    Flowers for Scola

The Argentine pivot, who will play next season in the Rockets, received praises from NBA; they emphasize his capacity for “playing under pressure”.
New York (Télam). - The Argentine pivot Luis Scola, who signed with the Houston Rockets and will make his debut next season in NBA, was praised by its attitude and its capacity for “playing under pressure”, in a presentation made by the official league office (NBA) with respect to the basketball player.

“Scola is a stranger to NBA followers, but everything will change once they see him in action. The Argentinean knows how to play under pressure and will be important for the Rockets", informed today the most important basketball league in the planet in their official internet page , in a detailed description of the Argentinean.

Capable. “Surely Scola, like all rookies, will have to overcome a period of learning, to adapt to a new system of play, life, and customs, but he is capable of being important to the team from the first games”, added the NBA column with respect to the member of the Argentine national team.

Scola was drafted in 2002 by the San Antonio Spurs, the current NBA champions in which Argentineans Emanuel Ginóbili and Fabricio Oberto stand out, but recently he was able to gain admittance into the league this year contracted by the Houston Rockets, after several seasons of high performance with the TAU Ceramica of Spain.

Another that promises. “Scola, next to the Spanish guard Juan Carlos “La Bomba” Navarro (contracted by Memphis Grizzlies), they gained the reputation of being the best players in the world between the ones that do not play in NBA”, the site added in “elogiosa” (not sure on translation) form.

Scola is part of a golden generation of Argentine basketball, next to “Manu” Ginóbili, Oberto, Andrés Nocioni, Carlos Delfino, Walter Hermann, Juan Ignacio Sanchez and Hugo Sconochini, whom with he won the Olympic gold in Athens 2004, after beating the United States in semifinals and Italy in the finals.

For a tourist I can see that, it's an awesome place to live.

    Thanks for sharing, though.

Got to catch the first half: Scola's a player, looks to be very sound in just about all aspects of the game. Scrappy too. This should be fun.
