All of a sudden when I open outlook in the space where my emails normally are it just says "Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook could not access the specified folder location.", then when I click on the Personal Folders icon on the left side it says that "Unabel to expand folder" and that the file is in use by another application. I don't know what other application is using the outlook.pst file. Anybody got any ideas?

Stupid question - but have you tried rebooting?
The application could be anything - gotta see whats running in the background. I recommend running a PCPitstop test at http://www.pcpitstop.com then post the TechExpress link here .. that way we can see what you have running in the background.
