all I can say is WTF?!?!

Why would we get ANOTHER guard?! McRoberts was still on the board, Splitter, Big Baby, ANYONE!! And he's under 6', come on...this sucks.

I can only imagine this signals that V-Span isn't coming back and we've got a trade in the works for some of our guard backlog...or maybe that's just what I'm hoping!!

Clutch just called me from the draft room at TC saying that the media there believes there has to be a trade in the works and they are waiting for confirmation from the Rockets one way or the other.

So, if they do make a trade, I hope all you freaks posting curse words and stupid, over-reactionary crap in this thread are set to apologize.

Maybe because you already know you're getting Ike Diogu in a trade that includes Rafer Alston, V-Span or JLIII and that you're re-signing Chuck Hayes?

Now we know why Rox can't get past the first round. It is the front office.

Im not sure whether or not we're keeping Brooks, but I got a chance to watch him alot last year, and that guy is a helluva scorer. He is fearless, very clutch, very quick, and a very good shooter. I have no problem with us keeping this pick if Rafer is traded because i think with Adelmans offensive style this kid can surprise many people

If this isn't a pick for someone else that were trading to get a PF from (a good one) then I'm going to rub my ass on Morey's pillow.

Since Brooks went to Oregon could he be a personal pick by Adelman?

Damn, Spurs just took Splitter :(

It makes absolutely no sense for the Rockets to keep this pick. They don't need another undersized PG who really doesn't play point. This MUST be a trade. Only Isiah could do something this bizarre on draft day, except that Isiah actually gets decent guys doing this (see David Lee, Balkman, Nate Robinson).

since everyone in here is a draft guru..... hahaha, I won't question your logic.....but...... didn't Morey say over and over again that if we stayed at 26 that player would not impact the team very much next season ????

so what is the point of taking a PF if you aren't going to play him anyway.... do you really want our PF next season to be in the hands of a rookie ?

Brooks highlights look good and he looks like a good pick, especially for Adelman's uptempo offense.......

just give Morey a break...atleast let him finish the draft before you send him to hell, hahaha
