It is like those just with a more modern enemy and crisis situation. Lots of explosions + lots of funny lines + lots of deaths = great success!
r u serious? DH3 was GOLD! Samuel L made that movie "Its ZEUS, not JESUS, do I LOOK PUERTO RICAN TO YOU? Its Zeus as in the GOD OF LIGHTING, DONT MAKE ME SHOVE A LIGHTING BOLT UP YOUR ASS!" best line ever.... btw, i am HYPED to see it, its funny as hell they made Justin Long a "computer geek" in the movie and wondering if they show a bunch of Macs in the movie
yeah, he did make that movie. "give me the brief case you dumb.." "dumb what?" "what?" "you were going to call me a ***** werent you?" "what?! no" "then what?!" "@$$hole!, ok. @$$HOLE!...is that ok with you?"
I'm a huge willis fan, he even gets points from me on demi moore. and "moonlighting" was pretty good till he decided to be a movie star and stopped caring.
i thought moonlighting was among the best shows to ever be on TV. seriously. the delivery of those scripts was just amazing by bruce and cybil.
yeah i liked part 3 a lot i rank them: part 1 part 3 part 2 and i have a feeling this one will be in the middle of those somewhere.
hahah - classic! i know every guy who watched that show developed a little cocky 'david addison' in them after a while subconsciously or not; why did that mark harmon clown have to show up and ruin that series; actually i guess the show already jumped the shark by that time anyway; i think 'COPs' and teh genesis of all the lame 'reality tv' shows started to appear i admit, i thought Willis was an idiot leaving TV and would NEVER make it on the big screen; sure 'nuff - Die Hard won me over instantly being a thirtysomething, i'm stoked to see this one for nostalgia sake and old McClane doing all that crazy **** - slower, crabbier but still tough as nails!
yeah and 8.5 on imdb, although it's too early to tell on imdb cuz there are only 1,333 votes my score on imdb is 7.0 or higher is worth watching. if i wasnt going to see the movie anyways, i'd give it another two weeks and if it was 7 or higher, i'd go watch it
Same here...I'll still watch it...action looks good and its getting good reviews... but it's just not quite Die Hard if you don't hear f-bombs every other line. Apparently though, Willis has promised an unrated cut of the film with more language and bloodier violence. Yay!
i think maybe a non 'R' rating might be a great thing; means maybe they spent more time on an entertaining plot than senseless/expensive visuals; nothing worst then sitting in a theater realizing i've been ripped off by a lame-ass movie that wastes so much time on pointless CG effects like showing someone's gory face blow off or head decapitated in 'matrix cam' because the storyline itself SUCKS
