All series talk goes in here. DO NOT GIVE PLAY-BY-PLAY! If you need PBP try Yahoo, ESPN, or Sportsline.

Let's see if they can beat a good team that's not exhausted on the last city of a four-city trip.

    WWW?

Lackey is a good pitcher. We're gonna need Sampson to bring it, tonight. I think he will.

5 games out by the All Star break.

I'm getting ready to head out of town for the rest of the season, so you know they're going to make a run soon. Happened in '04 & '05, my anti-mojo is strong.

I'm thinking WLW. Sampson has really been our ace this year and Wandy has kept us in the games he has started. The question is will JJ be able to go deep enough into the ball game to minimize the chance of a bullpen blowup.

In the past three years I've been to about 9 Astros games. Considering I live outside of Houston that's pretty good. But sadly the Astros are 1-8 in the games I attend.

I am going to the game tonight. I hope that tonight will be the one that turns the trend around.

Sadly the Angels have been hot lately. They've been playing extremely well. Maybe after playing their crosstown rivals they will have a mental let down, and the Astros can take advantage.

2 outta 3 would be great. Sampson vs. Lackey tonight, a Texas showdown. I played against Lackey in Jr. College. Looks like he's the Cy Young favorite in the A.L.

That's right! This will be an even bigger test of the theory that the Astros benefit more from the added offense of no AE, then they do from his excellent glovework at shortstop.
