I wonder if Leslie is going to interview the prospects to see if they're willing to play Phoenix-like.

And tell the fans the pick was great because Drexler signed off.

Except that he never played Gerald Wallace in the two seasons that GW played in Sac.

What, no love for James "Hollywood" Robinson? College teammate of Robert Horry and Latrell Sprewell?

Jerome James is scrub status now, but he's still playing and has overplayed his spot as a 2nd rounder.

Hornets got Divac by trading Kobe.

How does Fuller compare to Divac?

Chad Ford's mock draft gives the Rockets non other than Marco Binelli or something that sounds like that!!!!! He's an Italian 2-guard...anyone knows more about him?

    Think Eric Montross but slower.

It looks like we should go for a point guard, the draft is pretty deep at that postition and its our biggest need. I'm optimistic that he could do well with a young backcourt player due to his reent history.

I would say that Joe Smith was notable. Especially the years he played for Adelman.

    Disagree.

Battier is the absolute quintessential money-ball player. I really can't think of anyone who personifies it more.

Stank of a bad GM. You guys have no clue about this stuff by what you write here. JVG didn't make the decision to trade for Shane. Honestly, he sounded like he would have rather had Gay. He didn't exactly give a ringing endorsement to the trade ya know - in fact, saying he would have played Gay pretty much is subtley saying he wanted Gay.

I didn't like the trade then and I like it less now. It was a mistake. No offense to Shane Battier - but I knew Shane would never be a great contributer - just a "glue guy" as people said.....and we needed much more then a glue guy.

Never trade away talent for experience - unless you're sure that it's all that it will take to win it all.
