    Here is some on Iavaroni...

    ----------------------------------------
A 14-year veteran of the NBA as a player or coach, Marc Iavaroni joined the Suns coaching staff in 2002.

Previously he served as assistant coach/director of player development with Pat Riley from 1999-2002. Iavaroni's responsibilities consisted of all general duties of an assistant coach plus the direct responsibility of developing Heat players year round. Prior to that he was an assistant coach under Cleveland Head Coach Mike Fratello for two seasons (1997-1999), concentrating his efforts on big man development.

Iavaroni owes much of his teaching expertise to his 20-year association as a student and instructor under Hall of Fame coach Pete Newell.
    ----------------------------------------

He has been with the Suns and knows how to build, run and succeed with a team under the 'new', quicker NBA especially on the offensive end. He still has the defensive background from coaching under Mike Fratello and has serious pedigree assisting under both Pat Riley and Pete Newell. Plus, the fact he was a successfull player in the league (along with all his coaching credentials), gives serious credibiity to the players.

    Just some food for thought.

Sam Mitchell wants nothing to do with the Rockets.

It would be awesome of Bill Walton was coach. We can boo him 41 times a year, plus the playoffs.

Is it fair to say that all the guys voted here wish JVG leave? 248 Clutchfans voted so far...

I wish him stay for one more season, I will bet on Jeff Van Gundy.

    - Although I hate his stubbornness sometimes.

[Edit] Nevermind, I found Dadakota's poll in another thread.

Yeah, Jeff's name should be added to the list. I did not cast my vote because I want Jeff.

And the Rockets want nothing to do with Sam Mitchell... in fact, no team will.

I would like Phil Jackson, but he is not available.

From the coaches without a team I would like Larry Brown, but I do not Les will want to pay so much for a coach.

I suspect Fratello is going to be our next coach.

If Adelman becomes the coach, maybe Yao can show off his 3pt shooting next season. ;)

I wish I were able to select "all of the above". There's no one listed that I wouldn't prefer to Jeff Van Gundy.

Definitely Adelman. I liked his program in Sacramento when they had Stojackavic and Webber.

    Adelman.

Then hope McRoberts drops and snatch him with our pick. Then you can use him in the highpost to feed Yao and hit cutters. He's also a good offensive rebounder and shot blocker. Explosive too.

Lenny is interested, but that doent equate to us being interested. it just said lenny was interested. . if i was les, i would Hire Adelman if he was avaliable. rick will bring our offense alive.
