I picked the Nets to win this series and then to lose in the 2nd round to the Cavs. Right now, I might make them the favorites against the Cavs.

Jason Kidd is this generation's "Mr. Triple Double"...the guy makes it look almost routine and boring. A definite HOF.

This is pretty much the forgotten series of the first round, and probably for good reason.

In the East, we're going to have a Pistons-Bulls matchup and a Nets-Cavs matchup. Frankly, I am only slightly intrigued by the Pistons-Bulls series, and probably won't watch a single Nets-Cavs game.

The Raptors haven't lost yet  , it's going to be a long series (I hope). Fact is they are playing like crap right now, IF you saw enough regular season games you'd know they are a much better team.

This Raptors team isn't ready for a playoff run IMO. They are the perfect higher seed for the Nets to polish off. I want the Raptors to win but they may not be ready.

You're probably right, though the Nets are not as good as you're making them out to be. The Nets finished the season as a .500 team...

No, I'm not overrating the Nets at all. It's just they are the kind of team that can play average to above their average in the first round and take down a young out of kilter team like the Raptors. The Nets will have no chance in the ECFs if they make it.

Give Colangelo another summer and you guys might be competing for best record in the East.

Don't rush it, young buck! Your day will come, you just have to bid your time until then. Learn, stay humble, gain experience from those who have been there, and keep polishing your weapon and one of those days it will be your moment of truth.

It's a good learning experience for the Raptors. They shouldn't be down IF they lose this series. Their division is pretty much theirs to lose next year. One year older=one year wiser.

NJ doubled Toronto's points in the first quarter. 32-15.

If Toronto gets swept, that will be a good excuse for Colangelo to fire Mitchell and promote Iavaroni.

They already split at home, they can't get swept.

I think they outbid everyone in the summer to keep Mitchell, I can't see the players liking the Coach of the Year booted after this year's turnaround.

Unfortunately, they'll probably lose in 5, after which Vinsanity will get shiv-ed by a disgruntled Raps fan.

man, barkley was on that stat. said he'd never been swept in a 7 game series, which was right, then remembered that he was swept in a 5 gamer by the knicks.

Why do people still think one of the Raptors colors is purple?

They phased out purple this year, nothing they have officially is purple, but the TNT graphics still has purple, wtf

Man, can they cancel the 4th quarter and just declare the Nets advanced? The Raptors are playing like crap.
