    weird or wired. we are definately wired for the playoffs.

    weird i think its only in jest everyone understands the situation and its horrible timing. I'm sure he will be playing tonight.

    This may not affect Chuck at all. He can play the first 8-9 min of the first quarter, pick up his 3 fouls...go see the baby born...come back in the fourth to foul out with 2 min to go...

    What's the deal with Americans obsessing with watching babies get born? It's not like Chuck is actually gonna help deliver the kid.


    My dad not only didn't watch me get born, he wasn't even around for the first 8 months of my life. And it turned out OK. I don't even remember anything about that period.

    I am just amazed at about 95% of the reaction here. The guy is giving birth to his first born child, compared to a childrens game. I want Chuck at the game more than anyone since he is my 2nd favorite Rocket but come on give the man some slack for putting his family before a basketball game. I for one still think Chuck Hayes will show up before the 9:30 start time, and will play inspired ball trying to dedicate it to his new born baby. So I say Congrats Chuck Hayes and his girlfriend!
