Phoenix just gave away their draft picks last year b/c the owner was cheap. Who knows what they'll do this year.

    its Bryan Colangelo

get used to it, I bet the Raptors are going to be doing the exact same thing to everyone.

Instead of signing some unknowns like Garbajosa or Anthony Parker, we sign Stromile Swift for twice as much money.

The good thing for us is that we are not that bad at trading for players

Nash makes even a tree trunk scary.

phx wouldn't be a good fit for Oden. he will never develop a low post offensive game with them playing run and gun style as long as Nash is the point. without a decent low post game, he will never be able to challenge Yao for the best center in the game.

Phoenix has no chance of getting Durant or Oden. End of story.

I do hope they get that bust Noah though. =D

thats probably the most logical choice for them either noah or brewer if they are available when the suns pick. brewer would provide them with a athletic wing defender off the bench when bell sits (marion normally guards the pfs) or noah an athletic big.

if they pick noah i hope he busts out worse than olowakandi

The word for a while has been that they're taking Noah. Snvce their pick will most likely be somewhere in the 5-10 range, it's a logical pick. And he's gonna make them a helluva lot scarier.

How much you want to bet that Noah would flourish on the suns. He'd be like a 7 foot Diaw that can crash the boards.

They don't need Noah to be a great scorer if they get him, infact, I could see Noah as their 5th option. The just need a glue guy who can play defense and rebound the ball and get it quickly to Nash. Now this is a scary line-up

    1 - Nash
    2 - Raja
    3 - Marion
    4 - Noah/Amare
    5 - Amare/Noah

We'd be so screwed, as would the rest of the NBA.

Noah in the NBA isn't going to be scary. He can't shoot and isn't very athletic. He hustles, screams and makes stupid faces. He's not going to make a big impact in the league.

Can you imagine Phoenix getting the first pick? That would be an embarassment of riches, with all the great talent level they've already got.

Al Thornton would be a really good fit for them. Really reminds me of Marion at 6'8 220lbs and is super athletic and can shoot from 3 and can drive to the lane. Phoenix probably will have the 4th pick though, and Thornton is in the 10-15 range. Horford makes sense to be Amare's backup at PF/C. He can run the court and dunk and defend. He would really benefit from playing in the run and gun system where he wont have to shoot the midrange jumper too much.

i dont think nash has much left in the tank

by next season his numbers will start a steady decline.

he will still be good the next two seasons but not at all what he has been.
