I think you can trade him in a seperate deal.....he can not be involved in a package of players, but I think he can be moved in his own deal. DD
On the Bulls trade front, is there anyway they give up Sefalosha? Even if the Rockets have to throw in a draft pick? He really looks like he's going to be good.
Duhon would be great for us: Bonzi + Sura + 2nd round pick might be good enough, depending on how bad Chicago wants to win now. Chicago is pretty close to contending. If they can figure out a way to use the Sura cap space then the trade has a chance. Expiring contracts for James.... meh. The guy is ok, but he's worn out his welcome.
Sefolosha could be good, but he's probably not the right fit for us now. Too young, and we want to win now.
sefolosha, imo, will be a dang good pro for years to come. i dont see the bulls parting w/ him. And i do think he could help this team in a limited role, of course.
Do Duhon and Wells contracts match? Duhon has everything Alston is missing-- a high basketball IQ, a consistent 3, and better man-to-man defense. For us, it would easily be worth sending Wells and a couple 2nd rounders for him (maybe even a very late first rounder).
Houston would get Eric Snow Cleveland would get Bonzi Wells, Mike Bibby Sacramento would get Drew Gooden, Scott Pollard, Bob Sura, picks win, win, win
Eric Snow? He can't even play the point effectively in Cleveland. What makes you think he can play it effectively here?
No way I want Eric Snow. We'd probably take Damon Jones before him. Eric Snow = Ty Lue with a big contract and bad wheels.
Ok, trades are not my strong point, but can someone explain to me why ANYONE would take Bobby Sura in his current situation? I think he is/was a great player to have on our team, but what is he, three years now of not playing a game? Just to maneuver cap space by cutting him after trading for him with someone who has a bigger contract, or what?
