What is wrong with being an extremist?

    what is your veiw on this?
    what are the positive things and negative things about extreming?
    If you choose not to be extreme, why?

    Generally speaking, extreme behavior refers to beliefs that are contrary to popular socio-political ideology. That isn't always a bad thing. Sometimes, the popular ideology needs a change and it requires extremists to make those changes. Frankly, it usually a "radical" that forces changes on society for the better.

    Jesus was an extremist. So was Ghandi. In fact, all the great spiritual leaders that have lived on earth were extreme.

    The only problem is when extreme behavior leads to the oppression or harm of others.
