similar to his shot in the 04-05 playoff series when he was launching 3s over dirk with the shot clock winding down. jvg was talking earlier about how the only thing he asks of tmac's shot selection is to get more arc under it.

Simple fact is he's back is stronger. it means he has more power in he's realease point. hence the higher looking shot.

...and softer. His shot is softer, arcier, truer.

i tihnk he's finding it easier to get in a rythm since he's our #1, #2, and #3 option.

all of those shots, all of the time spent with the ball in his hand, just helps him get the feel of the shot better. i don't see anything different in his mechanics.

Ya'll are seeing something I'm not. His treys against Seattle were sweet, but they looked like clothesliners to me.

What do you expect from a guy who's head nearly hits the roof of the Toyota Center when he elevates?

I don't think his shots have more arc in them at all, a lot of his shots and mostly his 3 pointers are still line drives. Someone mentioned it already, but he has a lot more confidence in his back, so he is able to elevate more on his jumper.

one thing is he's releasing the ball quicker. when he was sucking he looked like he was already coming back down by the time he let the ball go. now it actually looks like he's releasing it at the top of the jump like you're supposed to.
