If we fail to win one game against the Spurs, Suns, or Mavs (which shouldn't be unexpected), I expect the "Fire JVG" threads to pop up again.

We're not supposed to win any of those games.

I mean, if we beat those teams without Yao, what would we do to them when Yao plays?

I am already fine with whatever the result will be, because I know our guys will play hard against each one of those teams.

 

I'd be very happy if we win one of the three games.

2-2 and I should be very satisfied.

Even though then I will probably think to myself, "Damn if we beat two of those teams, we definitely have the capability to win all 4 games."

Then I will be frustrated as to why the Rockets didn't go 4-0.

Against the big three I'm hoping to win one, would be ecstatic to win two, and wouldn't be surprised if we lost to all three. It's a tough stretch.

4-0. This team knows that if they want to win it all, they have to go through at least two/three of these four teams. The moves to the top are made now. I can't help but think that we're ready to be the best team in the NBA. We have a team that plays hard every night, each player has taken turns stepping up and we have the best player in the NBA if he gets hot. It's going to be a blast in the next 4 games.

If we don't steal one against the Mavs our only chance of winning 1 out of the 3 is against the Spurs.

How are we going to win a back to back against the Suns who are red hot?

The team we play before them (the Mavs) have been just as red hot.

I say we go 1-3. We beat the Nuggets but I don't think we can beat the other teams, not without Yao, not the way they are playing.

One little disagreement. Do you think if those teams were missing Duncan/ Parker, Nowitzki or Nash/Amare, you would be able to judge them based on that? The Suns started 1-5 without Amare or with Amare playing badly

 

actually, u are not mistaken; not only am I a JVG doubter, but I am a long time JVG HATER.. I hate this bald r****ded stubborn guy, I really do..

and please, dont assume that our wins are a result of his "great coaching". he has been doing a decent job, not a "great" job as many of y'all JVG lovers like to call it..

but since our team is doing well, I am kinda easy on him these days and I let out a "Fire Gundy" thing as a joke..
