i think the rockets can win this one but have to play a near flawless game. in the first game at utah cj miles scored like 12-13 points in the first quarter on perfect shooting. i dont think the rockets really scouted him too much considering he wasnt in the lineup and it was the first game of the year. with all the game footage for jvg to prepare i think we will be better prepared to handle them now. too bad it is without yao. honestly i think having mutombo guard boozer and howard okur may actually be better for the rockets tonight. boozer can step outside but not as far as okur and thus thats better for deke. also boozer is their best rebounder having mutombo box him out (hopefully elbow him out) will be a better option. worried about the bench at the moment as we are thin without yao, kirk or bonzi. does anyone know kirk's status for this game? will he back to face his former team or is it going to be next week? its going to be another high scoring affair. its scary how bad the defense is without yao and deke anchoring it. the defense is fine with deke there but when he goes out we are really small. rockets 106 jazz 101 (i dont have a good feeling about the game but i cant and will never say that a jazz team wont lose)
This is obviously going to be a tough game. Im worried Rafer starting the game 0 for 6 and putting us in a big hole. Im also worried about Okur's flopping a@*.

This game is a bit iffy, but Rockets have been protecting home ground very well this season. I say a narrow win. Or a blow-out win if they don't let their defence slip.

Only if everything goes perfectly for us can we win this game, I am not all that optimistic, but crazier things have happened. In all seriousness though, we will need all three of Battier, Head, and Alston on fire tonight if we're going to win. All Utah has to do is put AK47 on T-Mac and double-team him only if he gets hot, thereby forcing him to pass the ball out.
