Woohoo! 1st year at A&M, we beat the Horns. Last year at A&M, we beat the Horns. Sometimes I feel like this world was built just for me. :D (Peter Griffin joke)

As I stated earlier, it's about time the losing streak came to an end. The Horns finally got some relief last year against OU. Sorry, guys, UT can't keep beating the Ags forever. I've been traveling all over the world and met Horns from everywhere during the OU domination days and they were always so PO'd about Davis and sometimes Mack. So imagine that frustration times 10 amongst us Aggies who mainly have hate towards UT. UT has hate to spread around (OU, A&M, TT), but A&M is always about UT, though I think the TT hate has grown much over the last 8 years.

Fun game though. And will the following posters please step up to receive their plate of crow:

It shouldn't taste so bad. You know, defeat, that is. Just get used to it, for you'll be having this feeling after the losses to A&M's hands continue for years to come. :p

I agree, Heard needs to be seriously reprimanded for that. Hitting the opposing quarterback when he's walking off the field is inexcusable. The play was long over.

Unfortunately, this isn't the NFL so there won't be any kind of sanction or penalty. Also, don't hold your breath that TAMU will do anything. If anything, they will probably give him a parade for that hit.

That's all emotion talking without logic RRNYC. Legal or not, that hit was dumb, and he should be punished. You're parade comment is way over the top too.

I've been saying all year that UT is just not a very good team without VY. Hopefully, finally some of you agree with me. They are not even a top 10 caliber team.

With that being said, where is King of 40 Acres? As for the signature bets I made i'm going to take the high road and not require anyone to change their sigs. I'm representing my school (UH) with class. Party time.

I agree the hit was dumb but he won't be punished. People will forget about it in about 15 minutes. TAMU won't punish him so who else will? NCAA? Don't think so. The point I was making that nobody at TAMU will punish him. Not the coach, not the fans, not the school. By the way some of the Aggie fans have responded/acted (my cousin included) they don't see anything wrong with it.

If the shoe was on the other foot, would the UT player be punished? Guys there get caught with guns and dope and have to miss one game at the most.

But at least they GET PUNISHED. You think UT Alumni who donates millions of dollars are gonna allow that kind of attitude rampant? This isn't the University of Miami here.

That was a dumb hit by Heard, and I hope he's suspended for at least the bowl game. It ruined an otherwise banner day for A&M. I hope McCoy is ok and can play in UT's bowl game.

    But finally...

Dude, not cool. I'm as big an A&M fan as anyone but I felt sick when McCoy got hurt. He was off all day...Based on his play (this had to be his worst game of the season), I think that K-State injury was worse than he or Mack let on. I think you could make a good argument he should have been benched and saved for UT's bowl game.

I was saying McCoy wasn't right from even the first drive when I was surprised we didn't really take a shot down the field. His two "long" passes of the day were for 20 yards. His balls had zero zip - they were floating all day. He never had a strong arm, but he went from mediocre to an absolute noodle today. He definitely still had some cobwebs going. You would think he'd be ok two weeks later, but something was definitely wrong. Before the cheap shot, I was wondering if we should put in Snead because Colt just couldn't throw the ball downfield. Coming in, had 27 TDs and 4 INTs - you don't throw 3 INTs after having those numbers without something wrong. Snead's interception was poorly thrown, but it was also clear the receivers were not used to the ball coming out with any sort of zip on it.

The refs were piss poor. At least they got the call on A&M's first drive right, but it was freaking unbelievable how that could've been called a catch on the field under any circumstances. The offensive pass interference on Sweed was garbage, and on that drive that missed a flat out blatant and violent face mask right in front of the ref. Then the no call on the running into the kicker.

Defensively, they adjusted and forced Colt to try and beat them when it was clear he couldn't. Offensively, they controlled the ball, and the Horns were awful against the run- the whole team seemed to come out flat on both sides of the ball. The Aggies went 10-16 on 3rd down, but it seemed much worse than that. The successful run on 3rd and 9 on the Aggies first drive was flat out unacceptable. And Melton should've looked across the field at Lane for how he should be playing. On 4th and 1, the 270 lb. RB should run straight ahead, not shuffle his feet.

Credit to A&M though. They didn't make mistakes and that 2nd TD drive was really impressive.

Good game by A&M. I guess this means the coach won't get fired now. I'm not sure that's a good hting though.....
