Sam Cassell. I loved his style/attitude.

The first jersey I ever had was #10 Cassell.

OT during the 94 season, in the 95 season Mario, junkyard dog, Ellie really became the heart and soul.

Man, that was a special team. A championship team is really hard to come by. Since then we've tried how many directions? I still dont think we have that speical combination of talented players on our roster today. A beautifully assembled team whether by design or accident.

Met Vernon Maxwell years ago at Discovery Zone, when me and his son were in the Jungle Jim...that was like elementary school...Those were the Dayz!!!!

Cool guy, he signed a plastic ball that i won from all the tickets that you can collect from the games.

It's so crazy to watch those old games and see Horry and think . . . this guy has another five championships and countless clutch shots to go before we get to the present. And he's not done yet.

How did Worrell say it about OT, he was a "lunch pale" kinda player.

    OT all the way!

That's blue collar. I'm not hating on the others, I would like to rank them:

    2. Elie
    3. Cassell
    4. Mad Max
    5. Kenny
    6. Horry/Herrera
    7. Air Bullard
    8. Scotty Brooks

Loved Mario, but damn, how could it not be OT? I mean, the city of Houston was absolutely lucky to have this guy as our Power Forward for those years. I loved getting Clyde for the 2d championship run but hated that we had to part with OT to get him. He was a straight up brute, could run the lane like no other 4 in the league and just crush the rim with sheer force. He played great defense and rebounded like a Hoss. He was the ultimate front-court enforcer for Hakeem. The only other player comparable these days is Ben Wallace. Someone posted it earlier, without OT, no way the Rox get past the NY Knicks thuggery frontline in the 1st championship.

Mad Max. The man was insane and could be 3 for 18 from the floor, but he made the big shots when they counted.

And let's not forget how they never come back against Phoenix if he doesn't go absolutely nutz in the 2nd half of Game 3, while simultaneously making Dan Majerle his b****.

Plus he made that huge 3-pointer in Game 7 against the Knicks(who didn't see that one coming?). That one basically clinched the title.

    OT!

That one handed outlet pass was a thing of beauty.
