It's not about pain. I'am sure if it was up to Yao he wouold play but Toes surgeries need to be taken with precaution becasue it could get easily infected.

Lucas is a PG, they play a LOT better with better players to pass to, and also, to take up the defenses attention.

Novak scored 2 less points than Gay on 12 less shots and 9 less minutes.

Novak is a great shooter and it seems like he can become much more
Vspan is in alot of defensive plays so he should be in the rotation and when he settle in and get comfortable his offense will come along just fine

I don't know what's getting him, but he cannot shot toward the 2nd half.

So the Rockets lost their 1st preseason 75 ~ 69...... after leading 20 points at some point before half time.

But with TMAC resting for the remaining game in the second half, the Rockets just fell apart.....

Another indication of this team is nothing but scrub players without TMAC and Yao Ming ??

Geez, it's just the first preseason game. Let them develop more chemistry together.

Gay showed signs of brilliance and horrendus descion making. he'll get better once he gets adjusted more. as i said before, these games are meaningless in terms of meaning anything as far as a championship goes. but there gold because we can give our 2nd unit a chance to develope a cohesive relationship.

The last time that Battier played in this game he was guarding Warwick near & under the basket- he couldn't do much to defend him. I can't see Battier guarding the better Power Forwards. JVG should wake up to this possibility!

Did you even watch the game?! It was pretty much NOTHING but Rookies.

It was Novak, Haryasz, Lucas, Casey, Vspan, Padgett, and Hayes the entire 2nd half.

The Rockets looked great with their starters out there. The scrubs/backups played like scrubs. So what. It's the preseason. Geez.

I for one am VERY happy how the Rockets looked in the first half. Imagine, they were playign that well with out Yao. Imagine them WITH Yao.
