THIS IS NOT A ****ING OPEN DEBATE. I said... Best Cover Song Ever. Not... Best Cover Song Ever? Besides, my extensive BBS memory tells me there was already a thread like that (most likely started and/or dominated by Manny Ramirez)
This is THE BEST COVER SONG EVER!!!!!!! <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/NN3MGN899yE"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/NN3MGN899yE" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> This thread can now be closed. End of debate.
Dave Matthew's Band has covered The Beatles' In My Life. I thought that was pretty cool. I can't think of any right now though.

Dynamite Hack - boyz in the hood Hootie did an AWESOME cover of "Losing My Religion" live that I saw. It was definitely one of the better covers I've heard.
There's an old b&w film/video clip of the Beach Boys playing "Do You wanna Dance?" with Al Jardine singing. Unfortunately another guy sings on their audio recordings of that song.
