THIS IS NOT A ****ING OPEN DEBATE.

I said... Best Cover Song Ever.

    Not... Best Cover Song Ever?

Besides, my extensive BBS memory tells me there was already a thread like that (most likely started and/or dominated by Manny Ramirez)

Dave Matthew's Band has covered The Beatles' In My Life. I thought that was pretty cool. I can't think of any right now though.

    Hmm...

The Mountain Goats' cover of Ace Of Base's I Saw the Sign.

I thought that was cool too.

Hello I Love You/Touch Me -The Lettermen
    Happy Together - Mel Torme
Sunshine Superman - Mel Torme (again!)
The Mighty Quinn - Julie London (hot wife of St. Friday from Dragnet)
    Ms. Robinson - Guy Lombardo
    A Hard Day's Night - Peggy Lee
    and worst for last...
These Boots Are Made For Walking - Ms. Elva Miller, the original William Hung

Dynamite Hack - boyz in the hood

Hootie did an AWESOME cover of "Losing My Religion" live that I saw. It was definitely one of the better covers I've heard.

There's an old b&w film/video clip of the Beach Boys playing "Do You wanna Dance?" with Al Jardine singing. Unfortunately another guy sings on their audio recordings of that song.
