Clutch Well done. This site has been a blessing. One day, there will be a cosmic convergence and all the BBS members will gather in the Toyota Center for an all week ClutchFans convention and all past and present players will be there to reminisce and celebrate all things Rockets.
Thanks for providing the Rockets fix for this peripatetic Texan. This is the Internet version of "Home with the Armadillo."
Holy Cow! It had been asked ina previous thread about the "Ultimate Lurker" You just won that award (no, there isnt any prize ) One post in over 6 years of membership? Amazing
I don't know how I missed this thread earlier. Thanks for everything Clutch, you have no idea how much of my life I've wasted on this site.
i heard about this site in '96, this guy called into the 740am postgame radio show and ended his call by saying, go to www.clutchcity.com the best site on the internet i was like ok, and i was hooked... and back then the rockets had three legit superstars (barkley was still playing like a superstar) and it was fun talking about maloney marrying barkley's daughter and how the rockets was 31-3 or something ridiculous with the big three in the game at one point in the season ... rudy coached the all stars and it was a great year, until the shot... what a year to start this site, let's hope we have more great seasons to discuss in the future
Congrats on the milestone and thanks for the dedication. I remember staying up late hitting refresh every three seconds that night we were all waiting for the Pippen deal to become official. The BBS still has me up at all hours but thankfully there's no more school to get up to in the morning.
Felicidades en su aniversario. Gracias por todo, El Clutcho. "The training wheels... come off your bike..." - Michael Jackson
Clutch, congrats on your 10th anniversary! Considering the web is roughly 12 years old in general to the public, 10 years is a lot to be proud of! Remember the Rockets Science articles? ;-) http://web.archive.org/web/19981206103508/www.clutchcity.com/rscience.html http://web.archive.org/web/19981206045407/www.clutchcity.com/rscience2.html http://web.archive.org/web/19981206162908/www.clutchcity.com/features.html
I love being a Rockets fan, and I love being a Clutchfan! This is WAY better than killing time on MySpace I think
Thanks for providing a great place to discuss the NBA and of course Rockets talk for the past 10 years. thanks Clutch.
Congrats!! This site really makes the Rockets unique and shows how supportive and caring we are as Rockets fans!!! Go Rox!!!
