The NBA schedule will be released at 1:00. It will be interesting to know how many games will be on national TV for the Rockets. My guess is 12-15. I don't think it will be 20-odd something like last season. For one, we stunk on national TV last year. Also, the Yao wonderment has somewhat diminished. We can almost count on the two Miami games on national TV though.
Many thanks. I didn't see that on nba.com until just now. Schedule will be released at 1:00 Houston time.
sweet i was planning to go to houston this year for a game hopefully the home opener provided my schedule at work allows it. now i can hopefully book some plane tickets

The full schedule is not up yet at least from what i saw but i so want to go to the home opener now i think i am gonna start booking some tixs good thing i also can get league pass this year, make that afford to get it, cuz the # of rocket live games has dropped down which is natural after the season we had but it still sickens me to see the lakers have the max # (24) of national games. i get r2k's game and highlights but there is nothing like see it live
hmmm, our first match is against the Utah Jazz at Utah. Hope T-Mac and Yao will start the season huge. And it would be great if JLIII, Novak and V-Span have solid first NBA games.

Man the Heat and Lakers play again on Christmas day, I'm getting tired of seeing the same thing every Christmas, geez it's like a broken record at this point in time, put something new into the mix for once
Word. Cleveland and Miami would have been much better. Lebron and Wade, the future (and present for that matter) of the NBA on full display.
I've always wondered why the Lakers/Rockets matchup doesn't get more attention nationally (since Shaq left). McGrady and Kobe are two of the most electrifying players in the league and probably still most enjoyable one-on-one matchup to watch. I know that the league has moved on to LeBron, Carmelo, and Wade. But I would think that the McGrady-Kobe match-up would be a pretty big ratings booster.
strange that we finish the year the way we start on the road at utah. but agree on the lakers/rockets not being televised it seems a bit weird since i rather see kobe/tracy than lebron/wade
Not really, even though most of the games are on the road, we don't play a lot of tough teams. January seems like the toughest month. We play Denver, SA, Dallas, SAC, Minni, and Chicago on the road. Then we have Denver and Phoenix at home. February's schedule seems like it could give us one last run if we need it.
we end the season versus Oklahoma, utah, and phoenix, both should be in the playoffs or in the hunt. gonna be tough if it goes down to the wire
