okay... why is his head cut off when he goes to the surface... and i thought he was holding his breath... he has a mask and chains on...
so when does he do the damn 9 minutes thing? how the hell is this a 2 hour special? i've only been watching for about 2 minutes, but what did they do the previous 90 minutes?
Makes you wonder why he used a sphere? Why not just use a rectangular tank, that gives him more room for his assistants to help him, and helps avoid bad camera angles... unless the whole "sphere effect" is being used to dupe us... hmmm?
I live a block from Lincoln Center....I've walked my dog past this freakshow twice a day since last Monday...he's in water. Also, combined with some construction, the traffic has never been worse in my neighborhood.
Well, when they show the view from the top, it is quite clear that he is in water. I dont know how that can be disputed.
You can't sell ad time with just 9 minutes of viewing... dude they'd stretch this mess out for 2 days if they could.
what would be crazy if there was some malfunction and he died..........................................
This isn't a magic trick, this is a test of pushing the human body to the limit, I think some of you are confusing this with a magic trick.
David Copperfield made the Statue of Liberty vanish ~ it really happened. Here's a guy holding his breath in Germany for 12:47... link In case you need to cut/ paste http://www.h2oteam.com/sub/stream/RTL24092005.wvx
Houdini's tricks were almost all physically orriented, hence why he is considered one of the greatest physical magicians ever. He had his little tricks as well, but many he had to withstand emense amounts of physical torture to complete. I'm not saying that Blaine is the next Houdini, but I'm giving him some validity to what he is doing, just as reggietodd suggested.
I just read that after staying in water for 7 days it feels like he has needles poking at his skin... that sucks..
