Afer reading Jonathan Feigan's article in today's Chronicle, the two things that jumped out were:

    1. The Rockets really want to trade up and are still trying to do so.

    2. The Rockets seem to be focusing on a big man.

    Here's a quote from CD:
"you always like to draft for need if the talent level is pretty even," he said. "If there's a big drop-off,normally you take the best athlete, and it's worth more. "

Since the coaching staff seems to think that the biggest need is a big man, then that might mean Moiso is our guy. Of couse, the other possibility is that this is what Dawson wants everyone to believe and that they're really after Johnson.

or he's gonna fool us all and take Chris Porter at #9, the best available athlete. j/k [IMG] (At least I hope so.)

The more lefties on your team, the better.

    Draft Moiso. Trade Moises.

    Trade or bench Kenny Thomas.

The only teams I see wanting to trade down, are the Nets and Bulls. We can't match the Magic's #5 and Doleac deal. So That rules out our chances for Martin or Swift. We could trade Cato and #9 for Chicago's #4, but who would we take? Miles? Can't see trading Cato to pick Mihm or Przybilla or Fizer. Would the Nets Pass on the Magic deal to get Martin out of the East? The Rockets have to try, but I can't see us getting the #1.

aelliott, the way I interpret that is Rudy thinks there is a big drop-off in big-man talent by the time it gets to the 9th spot, so I think he is going to draft DJ.

I don't think there is any chance that we can move up.

    Moonbus,

I hear what you're saying, but in his latest mock draft, Chris Monter now has us passing on DerMarr and selecting Moiso.
