So far 50 points in 29 minutes. IN fact, he had like 32 points in just 11 minutes. Looks like he is gonna have a career night.

Just goes to show how good teh mavs are. Way overated. Dirk, apparently a MVP guy, got shut down by TMac for 7 games of a playoff series. They have no defense either for all those guys who say their D has improved. TMac, if he plays SF or SG in the playoffs is gonna torch these kids up.

what I don't get is Dallas is 18-6 and yet they can't even stop a one man wrecking crew?

this is why Dallas will never be a legit finals contender.

    gotta play D

Unbelievable - I think Phil's gonna let him go for as many as he likes. He is in Jordan mode. He may go for 80.

He had 43 against them last week in Dallas. Like I said after that game, something gets a hold of Kobe when he sees the Mavs. It's his personal mission to punish them. Can someone who is watching the game tell me who is Kobe abusing the most. I noticed Josh Howard has played 30 minutes thus far so I assume it's him. Looking at the ESPN box score, Kobe had 30 points in the 3rd quarter. WOW!!!

Two days ago, this Lakers team scored 74 against us.

It looks like Kobe may break that. 62 points through 3 quarters. Unreal.

Note to Dallas defense: Make someone else beat you. It's hilarious- Kobe has 0 assists. In 3 quarters, he's taken 31 FGAs and has 25 FTAs - more than the entire Dallas team. No one else on the Lakers has more than 7 FGAs.

Kobe probably will stay out, but he did his damage. He was averaging 1.8787.. points a minute. Could have actaully chased Wilts record. Especially with teh 30 pts in teh third and the 32 points in 11 minutes at the beginning of the game.

I guess adrian griffin is no longer the defensive specialist he used to be.

lost all respect for Phil just now.

you just don't take your player out when you could embarrass the other team by 50.

you let him stay in and you run up the score.

I agree, Kobe could have went for 80 tonight. Fine Phil again.
