A week or two ago wasn't there a lot of talk about him possibly "faking" an injury? Well maybe so, but who knows. Supposedly, from what I hear, Rafer is busting his butt, trying to get back into game shape....shooting A LOT of jumpers...running...hitting the weights....watching film...etc.

I know I dont have credibility from "sources", but take it for whats its worth. Just wanted to share what I heard. At least we know he is doing SOMETHING....unlike Bobby Sura who is out getting drunk nightly :D

So W-Mac is either Rafer's agent, Mom or Bobby Sura's Ex.........

haha...neither. Just a fan! The Sura comment was made because I saw him at a bar last Thursday watching the Rockets Kings game.

Personally, I like what bobby does for our team when he's out there. If his pre game ritual is to get drunk with fat chicks, then so be it. As far as Rafer goes, I'd like for him to translate some positives on the court.

Not a knock on either, but so far, bobby did a gj last year and skip hasn't done much. Not saying skip can't do anything, but i'd like to see it on the court.

Alston needs to come back sooner than later. He could be a very solid contribution to the team. I rather have head come in with the second unit for added energy and "O" off the bench.

With all due respect, the author of that weekly wrap-up is a good and aspiring writer, but also a poster on this board looking to be hired. I'd trust the Fox news source first.

Yeah, because it's not like posters on this board haven't broken major Rockets news before media outlets have or anything.

You miss my point completely, but it's not like posters on this board haven't done that before or anything. Insert juvenile, condescending 'rolling of eyes' here, and a regret to posting anything at all in the first place.

Out of curiousity, what was Bobby like watching the game? Was he getting happy/frustrated with the team? Or was he too "thoed" to even care?

Rapher is not faking any injury.

I saw him (2 Sundays ago) with my eyes when he came for the Rox party at Westin Galleria and he had a noticeable and painful-looking limp. With such limp I was convinced that he may be out until the end of this month of even sometime in January. I really felt bad watching him walk.

FWIW he was friendly and cordial but I did not ask him any Rox related question.

Yea he was watching. He seemed kind of laid back...just sitting there drinking his drink. You could tell that he is itching to play though. He had a girl with him so he had to show her some attention :D , but yes he was watching.

From what I hear he is busting his butt, especially in the weight room/gym ;)
