This fight promises to be one of the greatest of the year if both men show up to their fullest potential (especially Taylor). The trash talking at the weigh-in got me more hyped up for this one. The 40 year old Hopkins who hasnt lost in 10 years against the undefeated 26 year old Taylor.

Post your predictions for the fight here!

Hopkins will put those hands on Taylor. Win by TKO in the 8th. Might have to go to the Men's Club to check this one out...

Hopkins will put on his usuall safe fight which will make the fight extremely boring. Hopkins won't leave himself open and wins by a decision. Hopefully, he'll retire after this so we won't be put through his uninteresting fights again.

I am unfamiliar with Taylor, but Jim Lampley calls this a pick 'em fight, which is a little surprising given Hopkins' dominance. At what point does being a 40 year old kick in for Hopkins? I still think Hopkins should win a decision here.

I'm ordering this tonight. I'll say Hopkins wins in a decision.

My money says it goes the distance.
If it goes the distance then that indeed favors Hopkins, though I think Taylor to be more than capable of winning.

I found a stream (3 bucks) that has the fight online, not too shabby either. It lasts a month I think so I'll be able to watch other PPVs and whatever else the site offers.

Is it me or did hopkins just compare his performance to ronbinson when he was on the stool and his trainer is asking him tobe aggressive?

Just got back from watching the fight...

I'm too drunk to type, but this fight, IMO, was a good a$$ fight...

I felt that B-Hop's own style cause him the fight...

He usually plays it slow the first half of the fight, then he turns it up...

In my eyes, he won, but technically, Taylor wins based on being so aggresive the first few rounds...

B-Hop started to tag him sensless in the end...

    Cant wait until the rematch...

    YEA!!!

The one judge that had the fight 116-112 must not have been watching the fight. It was a very close fight but hopkins did not really start fighting until the 7th round. IMO taylor did win more rounds. Hopkins connected more punches as well as a higher %. If hopkins had started his assault a little sooner he might have won. I feel in the rematch Taylor will conserve his energy better and win showing that it was no fluke this time.

B-hop will win the rematch. This fight could have been a draw, I think Taylor felt that he lost the fight. He definately took more punishment than b-hop
