I can't bring myself to hate Amare, mainly because he's as dumb as a bag of rocks and he's almost painful to listen to. Can't blame him for that, though. I'll nominate Wally Sczerbiak. I can't stand the guy, and he sucks as a basketball player.
Had to go with Bowen. Just can't stand this guy, but after that it was close between Bradley and Bryan. Can't say I've seen/heard mush about the other 2, so its a bit hard to hate them. It's just everything about Bowen that makes me hate him, plus the fact that nearly every opposition player he has gone up against thinks he is a total wanker
I voted for Kobe, you hear that he has problems with everybody, I dont like him, and I think that the lakers fans have to hate him because he destroyed a very good team, and he is the reason why the lakers didnt pass to the playoffs.
I don't actually hate any of those guys. The guy I hate the most is Vince Carter, but that's more because he was a prick to me in person than because of anything on the court. Also: I hate Pau Gasol. I hate Josh Howard. I hate Manu Ginobilli. I hate Latrell Sprewell. I hate Carmelo Anthony. I hate Stephon Marbury. I hate Jamal Crawford. I hate Qyntel Woods. I hate Kirk Snyder. I hate Zach Randolph. I hate Darius Miles. (I hate the talk of acquiring Darius Miles just because I don't want to see him do that stupid thing where he puts his fists to his head like horns every game. That is the most r****ded thing i've ever seen) I hate Doug Christie. (Did you see that piece on him on real sports? ridiculous) I think that's about it off the top of my head.
Bama's All-Jerk squad SG Kobe Bryant- A great player whose hubris and stupidity single-handedly killed the Lakers' dynasty, thankfully. PF Rasheed- A jerk for all seasons. If I played against that SOB, I'd knee-cap him. He's played like a total dog against the Spurs and is way too inconsistent for my liking. SF Ron Artest - This man killed the Pacers' season and cast a cloud over the great Reggie Miller's last campaign. His silly temper tantrums became dangerous. C Eric Dampier - Whines about his money, finally gets his big money and...news flash, mails in a forgettable performance in the playoffs. C Shawn Bradley - Utterly worthless 7 foot 6 statute. Couldn't guard a cardboard cut of me in the block. But if I have to choose one player I hate more than any other, it would have to be Kobe. He's a jerk, an adulterer and a crybaby to boot. If you read Phil's book on the Laker's "last dance," you wonder why he came back to deal with that perrenial head case.
It has to be Kobe #1 with Bowen as a distant #2. Players just seem to like taking shots at him even when it seems it is unnecessary (for ex. Bugot or Ray Allen). I think his arrogance is probably the biggest reason for this.
I gotta say, I can't bring myself to hate Amare either -- the dude looks like he's having too much fun out there. Anyone who can play with that much attitude without having to get pissed off first can't be all bad.
