Yeah, I remember this stuff. The odd thing about it was that the friend that introduced this to me said you were supposed to drink it like shots or in a brandy glass, then do that goofy runnning it in your mouth like those wine tasters do. I like dark beers, but damn that stuff was nasty. Anyone in here ever have a Japanese beer called Sapporo (sp?)? I remember it being in a silver can and it was shaped like the big cups you get at Jack In The Box. With the small bottom, but it would widen out at the top. I remember that after 2 sips of this stuff, it tasted flat and watered down.
we're lambda lambda lambda and omega mu's and we come here on stage tonight, to do our show for you we gotta rocking rythm and a high tech sound that'll make you move your body down to the ground
i'm 21 and drunk right now but still got my senses about me.....I'll drink till my days are gone..but thats just the beer typing.
Once had a batch of home brew that was undrinkable. Otherwise, Old Milwaukee was pretty nasty and damn sure guaranteed to give you the runs.
A knowledgeable friend of mine just told me that it was actually Pearl inside the generic beer cans. So now you know...
Colt 45 Old English Mickey's Pearl Lone Star Red Dog Schlitz ..O'douls (the non-alcoholic beer) = NASTY My poor taste buds... I have never had Pabst Blue Ribbon, but I hear it is awful too.
Busch®. Ick. I don't know if they have it in Texas, but if you were a kid in Michigan, you probably know it well. I don't care for dark beers myself. A friend of mine insists that Sam Smith's Taddy Porter is the best beer ever. I disagree, and so does my intestinal tract.
I remember in high school I used to drink all that malt liqour(colt45, old english, mickeys), So one day I bought Guinness I put in the fridge got it nice and cold. Could hardly wait and when I drank that **** it made sick as hell. Ever since I cannot make myself try it again.
I too survived on Keystone throughout High School and College. Better than Coors Light but still just water in a can. The two worst beers I have ever had are Gilleys beer taken from the Gilleys bar after the place had shut down, and the Galveston Mardi Gras beers that were selling on the Strand back in 90-91. I still have a couple of "keepsake" full cans somewhere in the closet. Friggin' awful.
