I am not talking about players like Francis who have been in the league only two years. I am talking about players like Webber, Hill and Kidd. Players who have been in the league atleast 5 years or more.

Do you think these players will make the hall of fame:

Webber
Kidd
Hill
Duncan
Shaq
Kobe
Iverson
Payton
Mourning
Ray Allen

Agree with everyone on your list.

One question,

HOW COULD YOU LEAVE DREAM OFF YOUR LIST?

And Ewing, Stockton and Karla should make the Hall as well

I think Dream, Ewing, Robinson, Malone and Stockton are obvious choices. I am talking about the players that are just reaching their prime or will be there soon.

I don't think Robinson deserves to be in there. Just my opinion.

Grant Hill isn't a HOFer....yet. He'll have to win a Championship I think.

When he says this era I think he means players who made their mark in the 90s. And also think he means players who are on pace to make the Hall-of-Fame. I also think that winning a championship doesn't equal a Hall-of-Fame career, it enhances one though. David Robinson is definitely a Hall-of-Famer, his regular season stats are comparable to Dream's. Players of this era that I think will make the Hall-of-Fame assuming they keep up their pace, Gary Payton, Jason Kidd, Vince Carter, Tim Duncan, Michael Finley, Shaq, Kobe, Iverson, Allen, Marbury, Webber, Hill, Mourning, Mutombo (one of the greatest defensive players ever), Sprewell, Garnett.

I hate David, but he is a top 50-player of all time. I think he will definitely make it. Webber should make it. Zo probably wont unless he starts kickin some major ass.

I don't think a championship is as important as many do. Winning a championiship seems to have as much to do with the position of the stars as the player. With the exception of Hakeem, every future HOFer has had a great supporting caste when winning a title. Heck, most have been complimented by another HoFer as well.

I agree that Robinson really might not be a HoFer and I'm not even convinced that Allen and Kidd are, either. Allen's a very talented scorer... but I think he seems a bit one dimensional. Unless you consistently are among the top 3 in scoring, that alone isn't enough... he needs to become a better playmaker and/or defender/rebounder before I'd consider him.

Kidd... well, he's a great distributor and is a terrific rebounding guard, but I've always (admittedly) been one of his detractors. I don't think he has a good enough pure shot or the ability to score on his own. I know many people don't consider that strictly necessary for a PG, but I'd prefer him to be capable of one or the other before wanting him in the HoF.

I think Robinson will make it. Being elected Top 50 carries some weight with it. I don't think ZO makes it at this point. Payton is a question mark for me, but whenever you are the best at your position over a long period, you probably get in.

Pippen definately. He's a headcase, but he was the best all around player in the league during the 90's and one of two stars mainly responsible for the incredible duo-threepeat the Chicago Bulls won during that time.

Shaq
Kobe
Ewing
Pippen
MJ (of course)
Stockton
Malone
Phil Jackson

What do you all think of Reggie Miller? He was the clutch man of the 90's and Rodman was pound for pound one of the best defenders and rebounders.

I don't think either will---but both will get some votes and inspire some discussion.
