If this game is officiated the way games 1 and 6 were(IE with a few typical home court calls, but overall not too shabby), the Rockets have a very good chance. If its very slanted with lots of Dirk flops being called, lots of hacks on Yao NOT being called, then the Rockets will struggle....

    Rockets will win because:

    1. T-mac will be T-mac
    2. Yao will step up
    3. The refs will call it fair - the NBA does not want any more negative attention on the officiating - especially such a critical game.

I think I'd rather have Bevettta than Joey Crawford.

I think this is more a defining moment for T-Mac than Yao - just because we've seen that we can win without Yao, but we can't win when T-mac messes up down the stretch.

Exactly. Tmac has been to the playoffs only come up short in round 1 numerous times (including the infomous 3-1 brag), but this is only Yao's 2nd trip, and his 1st trip when he had a snowball's chance in hell of going to round 2. Tmac will get the heat if we lose, but we aren't going to lose so who cares...hehehe.

    Mavs 103............bring on the Suns..:D :D

The pressure is on the Mavs. They're the team that won 58 games, signed Erick Dampier to a 77 million dollar contract, and have a $100 million payroll. We are the young, brash upstart, we need to play like it. I want balls to the wall, and no regrets after this game. Hustle for every loose ball, fight for every rebound. Don't pass up open 3's, just let them fly. Yao needs to not worry about the refs and just play his game. Stay agressive, don't be afraid to try to block shots. If we're not afraid to fail, we will win this game.

I am not sure who the pressure is on. The mavs are a "4th" (actually 3rd by record) seed with the homecourt so they have the pressure to perform well. by the same token houston was up 2-0 in the series and now have been forced to a game 7, in fact were down 3-2 at one point. there is pressure on boths sides which makes this game all the more intriguing.

    GO ROCKETS!!!!!!
