[Fox 26] Texans Todd Grantham gets TWO D-Coordinator offers

    He was offered by the Miami Dolphins and Clevalend Browns to be their new defense coordinator. He currently the Texans D-Line Coach. He has a young bright defense mind and the Texans let him leave. Fire Fangio and promote this guy. He had very little to work with here in old washed up players like Gary Walker and Seth Payne. He must be good considering Romeo Crenel, a defensive genius, is offering him the spot.

    I don't know, I never really thought our D-line was super talented, but I think they had some good players in there, and still they never really impressed me. It wouldn't bother me too much if Grantham left.

    Cleveland it is. He took the DC job last night. Early word is former Baylor coach Kevin Steele (was with Dom at Carolina) to replace Grantham.

    Never did feel D-Line did much after our first year. Walker has been underperforming. Other veterans played pretty much played like their talent. And our youngsters didn't do well. Seems pretty average to me.

    Perhaps Grantham is a better fit as coordinator than as a position coach. Either way, I don't think we'll miss him.
