I think before people would answer your question, you need to tell us the reasons for you to think Tmac wants Yao out of Houston. We would definitely like to know what your source is. :)

This may quite possibly be the most baffling post I've ever read. Why on Earth would you think such a thing?

So tired of speculations. Maybe we should trade Yao so everyone can have peace. How about Yao+Spoon+Ward+Howard for Odom+Butler+Mihm+Atkins+#1pick? That trade may actually be acceptable to both teams.

I don't think anyone would accept Spoon, Ward, and Howard unless it was Lebron in the deal. Rudy T has history with Yao and Mo. That's the deal.

For some reasons this thread reminds me of the infamous Troy Baros thread two years ago. IIRC he claimed his source told him that Francis would leave Houston if we draft Yao.

You'd have to get at least 2 first round picks, and hopefully not protected. I like Yao but only want the Rockets to win. You'd essentially be trading teams, given that Kobe and T-Mac are so similiar. Nobody foresees the Lakers winning championships anytime soon with their team so draft picks aside, how does it help the Rockets?? Unless you think having Bob Sura instead of Tierre Brown and Mutombo instead of Brian Cook makes that much of a difference.

There are better deals for Yao out there, I'd bet. Not that it'd be that much better, but you could probably get 3 first round picks from the Warriors, plus Murphy and Richardson...heck, maybe even Claxton too, for a Yao+ package. The big draw there being the picks, given they'd still suck hard year after year.
